As much as I hate my sister, she introduced me to this game. I never got to beat it, but after all these years.. I finally did.
Then I learned the author, Chance Banning died from a accident that occurred last month.
But I'm just gonna take a moment right here to simply praise this game for one thing.
It's gun combat.
Holy shit, the gun combat is soo tense and that barely appears in games today. The cover isn't really protecting you from any gunfire, BUT, it helps create a tense feel between skullkid and his opponent, and creates this meta game of "who shoots first?", that's so damn rewarding when shooting them down. The game doesn't have real last boss, but the moody room and the gruesome death is a great reward.
I have to thank my sister for introducing me to this game, and R.I.P Chance, you made a game that is fondly remembered.
